British Sign Language Tours and Talks

This event is now over for 2025 - find out what's coming up at the Zoo.

Led by a BSL interpreter, discover the incredible animals at Whipsnade Zoo and learn about our global conservation work. The tour will be around an hour long and will start on the main lawn at 11am by our red-billed blue magpies. Our BSL talks will be at various locations around the Zoo, please check below for timings and locations. 

Times and Locations

• 11:00 am - BSL Tour - this tour will start on the main lawn by the red-billed blue magpies
• 2:00 pm - Elephant Talk in the Asia Area
• 3:00 pm - Meerkat Talk and feed in the Africa Area
• 4:00 pm - Giraffe Talk in the Africa Area

Prices

The tour and talks are free, being included in your zoo membership or admission, and there is no booking required. Please arrive early to avoid queues at Zoo entry.
