Universal Credit tickets offer heavily discounted zoo admission, so while we’re committed to accessibility and affordability, we are not able to combine these two. Visiting twice with Universal Credit tickets will be cheaper than full price tickets with the free return visit.
Unlike many commercial attractions, because we’re a charity Whipsnade Zoo is able to offer daytime admission tickets without any VAT, so the Government’s summer 2026 VAT initiative doesn’t affect our ticket prices. We are committed to offering as many people as possible the opportunity to connect with nature, while supporting our vital wildlife conservation work around the world, so we’ve developed our own great summer deals and reduced price tickets including family packages and a free return visit offer.
