Rhino Keeper Experience at Whipsnade Zoo

Follow in the footsteps of one of our Asian Rhino keepers and find out what it is like to look after these magnificent animals each day. After meeting your host for the morning, get stuck in to cleaning out their house and yard, prepare some food and find out all about Hugo and Jiya, our two Asian Rhinos.

£110 per person and only available on 10, 17 and 24 August 2025.

Important information to know before you book

• Participants must be over 16 years old and have a reasonable level of fitness
• Unfortunately, wheelchair access is not available for this experience and participants must have good mobility. For more information please discuss with us when you book
• For those with additional needs a carer can accompany them for free.
• Pregnant and nursing mothers are unable to take part
• Appropriate closed toe footwear must be worn for the experience
• The experience itinerary, content, duration and availability are subject to change without notice
• Please arrive on time, we advise guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the experience begins
