EYFS Education Workshops

Early Years Foundation Stage education workshops

We're bringing your students closer to wildlife through our education workshops which are FREE until February half term. Our interactive workshops at the Zoo cost £45 per workshop from February half term to 31 August. Our EYFS workshops are designed for groups of up to 35 students . Multiple workshops can be run concurrently throughout the day to cater for a whole year group, Key Stage or school’s needs.

    EYFS Animals Investigate

    Students will act as zoologists to investigate real objects from the natural world.

    EYFS Lifecycles

    Using costumes and role play to create and act out a butterfly lifecycle, before being led on a tour of our butterfly house where your children will have the chance to reinforce their learning by searching for the real-life stages of a butterfly lifecycle

    EYFS African Animals

    A lively and interactive workshop where children are transported to the African savannah. Along their journey, children learn more about a range of the zoo's animals and their natural habitats.
