Weatherproof your day!
If there's more than 90 minutes of continuous rain, or substantial high winds, during Zoo opening hours, that day will qualify for our Weather Buster Guarantee and you can re-visit, within the following two months, for free.
To take advantage of our Weather Buster Guarantee, you must have bought tickets online, in advance, from www.whipsnadezoo.org, for a qualifying date. Please keep your tickets safe as you will need these for your free return visit, along with photographic ID for the lead booker.

Terms and conditions
The Weather Buster Guarantee applies to original visit dates from 28 March 2024.
Tickets are only valid for a single return visit to Whipsnade Zoo, within two calendar months of the original visit date, for exactly the same tickets purchased originally. For example, one adult and one child.
Free return visits will only be accepted upon presentation of the original tickets with a valid photographic ID for the lead booker. Return visits under this guarantee have no cash value and cannot be transferred to somebody else.
You cannot re-visit more than once under this guarantee. If it also rains, or there are high winds on your return visit, you will not be entitled to another free visit.
The date of your original tickets must be an eligible rainy day as determined by Whipsnade Zoo. Eligible dates will be available on this webpage, from the next working day.
Free return visit must be redeemed within two calendar months of the original visit date. For example, if the original visit date was 15 April 2024, your Weather Buster Guarantee visit must be taken by 15 June 2024. For an original visit date of 31 July 2024, the Weather Buster Guarantee visit must be taken by 30 September 2024.
No cash alternative is available, tickets cannot be re-sold or exchanged.
The Guarantee only applies to Whipsnade Zoo admission tickets booked in advance through the Whipsnade Zoo website. School visits, Member visits, Universal Credit tickets and tickets booked through a third party are excluded from this promotion.
The Weather Buster Guarantee does not apply to special events or experiences, including, but not limited to, Meet the Animals, Lookout Lodge and Keeper for a Day.
Return visits are subject to availability. Whipsnade Zoo has the right to refuse entry and withdraw the Weather Buster Guarantee offer at any time. Qualifying days will be determined by Whipsnade Zoo and that decision is final.
